Cheat mode
Hold A + B + C on controllers one and two at the screen. A chime will confirm correct code entry. Enter one of the following controller actions to enable the corresponding cheat effect.
Partial invincibility
Pause game play and press B.
Full health
Pause game play and press A. Note: This will disable the "Partial invincibility" code.
Level select
Pause game play and press C. Three numbers will be displayed. The bottom number corresponds to the level. Press Left and Right to select a level and press Start to resume game play.
Level skip
Pause game play and press A + B + C.

Enable Codes
Before using the following tricks, do the following. At the Title screen, hold A + B + C + Start on both controllers. If you did this correctly a chime will sound.
Health Refill
First put in the enable codes then when you have low life press start and then press A. Your life will be full again.
Invincibility
Enable Tricks. To become invincible, pause the game and press B. Press A to return to normal.
Invincibility
Pause the game and then press B. When you unpause it, you will be invincible.
Level Select
Enable Tricks. Start the game, then hit Start to pause the game. Now press C. Three numbers will appear, the bottom being the level number. Press Left and Right to change the number and hit Start to start the game at that level. This can be done as many times during the game as you want.
Level Skip
Press Start to pause the game, and then press A, B, and C at the same time to go to the next level.
Mega cheats
At the title screen, hold A, B, and C on both controllers while pressing Start on controller one. If you do it correctly, you will hear a chime. Now start the game. Pause the game and press A in order to have your health meter refilled when you unpause the game. If you press B while the game is paused, you will get partial invincibility. Press C while it's paused in order to view the number of the current stage, which you can change by pressing Left or Right. Change to a different stage number if you want to be warped to that stage when you unpause the game.
Mine Level Tip
The lights on the mine level go Green, Green, Green, Yellow, Yellow, Green.
Secret Room
When you are in the ice level sink on the last iceburg and you will go in a room with lives, fish and other items.
