I have recently noticed that if I give my eggs Wedding Cake or Omellette of Regrette the eggs happiness goes down. So if you need that to happen consider eating those. However if you don't want a dark creature I wouldn't give it the omellette because it influences the egg a lot (and it isn't cheap) Also Joyful Cupcake give back happiness so if it's sad and hungry give it that for a double bonus. These are the only ones I know of that do this but I'm sure there are others.

These are clothes, food, books and wash items that will change the personality of your egg.

Normal - Should turn into a Pupsley. Feed it water bottles or apples, wash with a car sponge. if you want to dress it in things heart/sun stickers or the plain hoodie work. They should dream of the log.

Dark - Should turn into a Stitch Weasel. Feed it rancid milk or forbidden apple, was with a leaf. If you want to dress it vampire costumes or hazard/fire stickers should work. They should dream of a book with a raven on it

Cute - Should turn into a Ginglamb. Feed it sugar cubes or joyful cupcake, wash with a kawaii loofah. if you want to dress it sailor uniform or blush stickers work, They should dream of a bunny with flowers.

Pretty - Should turn into a Polkalette. Feed it grapes or papaya, wash with a feather duster. if you want to dress it tuxedos or dresses work. They should dream of makeup.

Nerdy - Should turn into a Chickabell. Feed it bacon wrapped bacon or toasted pb&j, wash with a cotton ear swab. If you want to dress it use a nyanegg outfit can work, They should dream of beakers,

Sporty - Should turn into a Zippig. Feed it blue breakfast or blue steer or energy shot, wash with a gym towel. If you want to dress it karate gi works, They should dream of sports equipment.

Of course if you want to save on coins you can always just focus on one thing and they'll still turn out those ways. If you want to check what type you get, put them to sleep or play the egg guessing game.

This is for after you have completed the basics tutorial in the game. Tap on your bed to buy a new egg. I usually get a Ghost egg, but you can get any one that is affordable. You need to have a fair amount of coins left. Once you have picked out the perfect egg, make sure it is happy and its stats are fine. Double tap the screen and select the icon with hats and glasses. Here's where you dress up your egg until it looks pretty. Spend very little money on it, and don't get too fancy. Now, go back to home and read your egg a book. Pick one you think will suit it best, and give it a desirable personality. Dark eggs like books such as Winny the Poe, and Pretty eggs like Beauty Tips for Round Faces. Try different books for different personalities. Play games with your egg and have fun until your egg is tired or you need to quit playing for the day. If it is still energetic, give it a Sleep Pill and it will be tired. Go to the sleep page and rock your egg to sleep. Wait for the dream bubble to appear, and what is in it will affect what it will be. Keep taking good care of your egg until it is ready to hatch. Take off all clothing so you can keep it for later and click the hatch button! Hopefully you get something you really like!
