Hats are the only thing that change OctoPie's abilities. For example, the Western Hat increases the accuracy of your targeting reticule and the Ninja Mask allows your ink to stun enemies for a longer amount of time.

A pigeon will occasionally fly by in a fixed path. It drops down briefly before gaining altitude. Predict where it will end up and shoot ahead of it. If successfully, you will gain six points.

The amount of points of each target is different. Always aim for as many people as possible.

You can tilt your device during the ending bonus round while you collect tips to steer OctoPie.

To unlock more power-ups, purchase upgrades. Each of them except for the hats are cosmetic. After progressing far enough, buttons will state that you must purchase a certain number of upgrades in order to unlock the next power-up. Buy as many as of them as you can.
