There are multiple ways to acquire Tech Cards, which help you to seriously improve your game and should be considered a priority. You can get them by dominating the weekly war events (cards are then awarded randomly), or by purchasing them outright with diamonds.

Tap the boxes that fly overhead to earn bonuses such as those special skills, as well as free diamonds. Diamonds buy you all sorts of perks such as supercharging your business or making it rain, as well as new tech cards. If you have an internet connection you will get the option to watch a video for five diamonds - otherwise you'll get one diamond per box.

One of the quickest free diamond bonuses is within the shop itself. Scroll past all of the goods that you can purchase, down to where it says Follow Twitter or Like Facebook. Do one of these or the other, or just tap the buttons and then go back to the game without following through; either way, you will earn 25 free diamonds apiece when you do this.

Completing achievements is your other best method of earning free diamonds. Hit the red ribbon/medal button to see what the achievements on your list are that you can still complete. When the achievements icon has an exclamation mark next to it, then you will be able to go and collect your reward for a completed achievement.

Be sure to prestige as often as possible, because this makes it very easy to gain new experience levels. Each time that you gain a new experience level, you will get a diamonds bonus. If you have already reached an experience level in the past before you prestige, you won't get any bonuses for getting back to it, though.

The higher your rank among your country's contributors of soldiers, the better that your bonuses will be. So for that purpose, switch to a smaller country on the list or a country without as many active players if you want to make it easy to get high into the rankings. Using a Make It Rain can also earn you quick angels and tech cards, although you're best off just spending 500 gems on 5 tech cards directly.
