From the main menu, select option 2 ("Define keys"). Redefine your keys, from the top working downwards, as "Y", "X", "E", and "S". Save your choices and return to the menu, then select option 2, "Define keys" again. Redefine your keys to whatever you want, and start a new game. You'll have infinite lives.

Load the game, then enter the POKE code before starting it up.

Select the "Redefine Keys" option, then enter Y, X, E, S.
