Hint: Faster packages
Instead of waiting for packages to arrive or for the next day, change the internal clock on your Gamecube to the time that you want in the game.
Hint: Free Nice cards
To get free nice cards, just go outside and chat with another Pokemon. They will ask you a question. If you answer correctly, they will give you a Free Nice card. The Nice cards are the Pokemon who asked you the question. For example, if you answered a question correctly from a Mr. Mime, you will get a Mr. Mime card.
Hint: Golbat Nice card
To get the Golbat card, you must have discovered the Ruins Of Raph and have obtained the Pichu Bros. Episode 5. The next day, go back into that cave in Ruins Of Raph. Go through the same process as you did to get the Pichu Bros. Episode 5. When you are at the question, it will be different than before. Answer it correctly and the Golbat statue will appear. Check in it, and you will find the Golbat Nice card.
Hint: Jirachi Nice card
Watch the full Pichu Bros. with Jirachi, then go to Camp Starlight when the weather is clear on a Sunday. She will be there and the answer to her question is: 1000 Years.
Hint: Kecleon Nice card
To get the Kecleon Nice card, go to Mt. Snowfall in the evening or at night. You should see a Kecleon there, depending on the weather. Talk to him, and he will want Fan Mail. Go back to the house and Pikachu will make the card. Go back to Kecleon and give him the mail. He will give you a Kecleon Nice card. If you talk to him again sometime, he will look confused and say "Kecleon".
Hint: Petting Pikachu
If Pikachu is near you, you can pet him or her by rotating the C-stick. This works better if you repeatedly rotate it 90 degrees.

Hint: Unlocking Jirachi
Note: This can only be done with the PAL version of the game. This trick requires a Game Boy Advance, link cable, and Pokemon Ruby or Sapphire. After unlocking all five Pichu Bros. Channels and watching them through the Star Projector, return home and talk to Oak. He will talk about something then exclaim "Oh! That Pokemon!". Turn to find that Jirachi has followed you home. At this point you can transfer Jirachi directly to Pokemon Ruby or Sapphire, provided you have defeated the Elite Four. Note: This does not work with Pokemon Fire Red, Leaf Green or Emerald. Otherwise, you can return to the title screen and select "Special" and the scene will repeat itself. If you have multiple copies of Pokemon Ruby or Sapphire, you can get a Jirachi for each game.
Hosted By Kasumi Disc
Find Togepi on Day 6 to get the Hosted by Kasumi Disc.
After getting the Hosted By Kasumi Disc, look for Celebi. Answer his question correctly and receive his Nice Card. Then, watch the Hosted By Kasumi Disc (if not already done), then save it. Professor Oak will then say your schedule for new programs tomorrow.
