Bonus level
Collect all the Chaos Emeralds during the second act of each zone. Defeat Dr. Robotnik in the Silver Castle Zone's third act. An extra level in which 99 rings must be collected before a final battle with Dr. Robotnik will begin.
Level Select
At the title screen, press Up, Up, Up, Down, Down, Down, 1, 2, 1, 2. You should hear a chime upon correct entry, then press Start.
