Enlist the help of a partner. Play as the host and have your partner play with you until the Boss spawns. A ticking noise will be heard just before it appears. Have your friend leave the game, change their nickname in Steam, then rejoin the game. If done correctly, your partner should have all the money both of you had collected and can purchase about thirty lives. Do this three times to get ninety lives, which should be enough to kill the Boss.

Play floor 3 and hit two switches to reveal a secret area. The first is a floor switch in the southwest corner of the level. The second switch is near the center of the level, to the east of the arrow trap that fires down a long vertical corridor. The Command and Conquer Easter egg can be found in the passage that uncovered by those two switches.

Locate the portal near the southeast area of floor 10 . Walk the portal to activate a secret switch that opens the room just to the north. This room has a set of stairs that leads back to level 1. Go there and explore to earn "Midway".

Have a saved game file at the dragon Boss (last Boss in the castle). Load the saved game, collect all the money, then kill the dragon. While the castle falls, do not go down the first set of stairs out of the dragon room. Allow the timer to expire and the game will end. However, your saved game file will not get overwritten. Reload the saved game and repeat the process. Note: Leaving the dragon room will overwrite the saved game file. Note: Easier difficulties will award more coins.

Defeat the second boss in the Temple campaign, then collect and return the pickaxe to its owner. Various rock piles around the town will now be destroyed. Move northeast from the Temple of Fear to reach a wide open area with multiple bonus items (gems, vender coins, ability pickups). Collect the red heart that appears differently than the usual +5 health upgrade to earn "Serious Pickup" and increase your maximum health by 1.

Find all twelve strange planks hidden on each floor. After defeating the final Boss, you will be told that the castle is collapsing. A secret passage will open and a 15 second timer will appear, which represents the amount of time remaining until the castle collapses. Run to the right of the Boss room to the secret passage. You will see some platforms that you cannot normally reach. Getting close to them will lay down a plank that allows you move forward and leave the room through a different exit. You must then run through a series of very short levels with a 15 second timer in each one. Ignore any enemies and move to the exit. Note: If playing as a Paladin, use the Charge attack to move forward through any blocking enemies. You will eventually reach the first floor and now must break through a wall to rejoin your companions from the start of the game. Move to the left to exit the castle.

In the northeast section of floor 6 is an area with four floor buttons and traps that fire arrows from the walls when you walk in front of them. Play as a Paladin and use the Charge ability to run over the switches and avoid damage from the traps. Hit the four buttons in any combination to open two small rooms to the left and right of the large room you are currently in. Each of these new rooms has a button to hit on the wall. Hitting both of them will earn "The Grisly Combination" as well as allow access to a secret area in the north section of the level, which leads to some treasure and the "The Heist" achievement.

Find the breakable wall to the north of the potion shop on floor 4 . You can only get access to this area after hitting the switches required for "The Grisly Combination" achievement. After those switches were activated, a "light bridge" will appear, allowing you to move north over a gap in the north part of the level and enter a secret area. Travel south from there to find an exit down to floor 4.

Collect only nine strange planks before the ending. Then, attempt to escape the collapsing castle after defeating the final Boss. When the message appears that the castle is collapsing and the secret passage opens, run to the right of the room towards the platforms. Use a plank to cross, and continue until you run out of planks .
