Cheat Menu
Enter the code while highlighting 'Music' in the 'Options' menu. 'Cheats!' will appear at the bottom of the list – in here, you can turn on infinite lives (Lives) and invincibility (Shield), and choose your starting level (Level). Selecting Level 9 will take you straight to the ending.

Cheat mode
Highlight the "Music" option at the "Options" menu, then press Right three time, Left three times, Right, Left, Right, Left. The "Cheats!" option will appear at the bottom of the menu. Select it to have options for unlimited lives, invincibility, and level select.
