Cheat mode
Press B(33), Start at the title screen. A sound test option will be available. Additionally, nine continues will be available when game play begins.
Hidden Options Menu
On the title screen, press the B button exactly 33 times then press Start. If you did it correctly, instead of hearing an explosion and starting the game like normal, you'll go to a hidden options menu.The hidden options menu holds a Sound Test with all the music tracks in the game, as well as a "Continues" option which lets you change the number of continue you have from down to 0 or up to 9.
Sound Test
Enter the Continues code, and on this screen, you also have access to a Sound Test.
Super weapon
Press Up, Down, A, B, Start at the title screen. You will start the game with the "Doom Gun" that allows all onscreen enemies to be destroyed, at the cost of two HP and three gun points.
