Press [Enter] and type one of following codesto activate the corresponding cheat function.

1. After enabling this cheat, move one of the villagers (not builders, farmers, etc.) into an opponent. Medusas will transform into Black Riders when killed. The Black Rider will transform into a Heavy Catapult after it dies.
2. Enable this code after establishing your Empire and clicking on the center of a town.
3. Enable this code after a catapult is selected.
4. Stealth Archers can walk on water and look as trees when stopped. They cannot be order to attack a specific unit. Move them close to the opponent and they may attack.
5. When Black Rider is killed, a Catapult will appear in its place.
6. Click on the bird you wish to transform into a dragon before enabling this code.

To get catapults that shoot cows, when facing north, Superman when facing west, and villagers when facing any other direction, highlight a catapult and press enter. When the chat box appears, type "Jack be Nimble".

There are hot keys which can be used to build thingsmuch faster by just pressing two letters on the keyboard. Clickon your villager and press B followed by one of the followinghot keys to build the corresponding object. Note: Use Rinstead of B to repair that object.

Also, Hold [Shift] to keep that building so you can buildmultiples of the same object. Press [F11] to display upthe population limit. Press [Space] to select what youpreviously did. Press [Ctrl] + 1 or 2, thenselect your group. To go over the population limit (50), to convertthe enemy.

Get any close combat person and attack a catapult.It will not be able to fire back because you are too close toit. Note: This also works for anything else that fires rocks.

If you need more units, but the population limit stops you, try this. Bring your population to 1 unit beneath the population limit. Now, make sure you have lots of resources, enough to build several units.

Next, go to all the buildings that can produce units, and QUICKLY click on the icon that makes the unit. Do this on every building as fast as you can, but you can only continue until a unit is completed, thus bringing your population to it's limit. HOWEVER, the game will complete all the units you started! With this, going fast enough, you, will be able to exceed your limit by about 10 units.

Use the following trick to rapidly enter the cheatcodes and get resources quickly. For wood, press [Enter],type woodstock, press [Shift] + [Home] tohighlight the word, then press [Ctrl] + C to copyit. Press [Enter] to activate the cheat. Press [Enter]again, then press [Ctrl] + V to or [Shift]+ [Insert] paste the word on the screen for activation.Repeat to get resources quickly. This may be used with the quarry,coinage, pepperoni pizza, and photon mancodes.

When you build something such as a Sentry Tower, useone villager and start building it. When your villager startsto build the tower, rapidly clicking on your building. You willsee that the Life or HP increases. To stop a player from noticing(in multi-player mode), hold the Right Mouse Button. Thiswill only work if you start clicking from start to finish.

If you are playing a game with the reveal mapcode enabled, look for things such as dead animals, chopped trees,etc. This will help you find enemies early in the game.

If you have a lot of villagers working on a resourceor every resource, select them all and right click a few timeson the Towncenter or Dropsides. Notice that the villagers whoare empty handed will suddenly have resource in their hands.

To overpopulate, first build something like four Academies.When you press [F11], you will see the population. Whenyou get up to 50 on multi-player, delete something. Next, clickon your Academy then click on the Phalanx or Hoplite about threeto four times. Do this on the second academy, then the third,and so on. This will trick the CPU into thinking you have to havemore, so you will have a bigger army. You can end up getting 50or more.

• Get a lot of villagers, then enable the medusa, big bertha and jack be nimble codes. Use all of your villagers to attack your enemies. Eventually, the villagers will be killed and replaced with Black Riders. When they are destroyed, the extremely powerful "Big Bertha" catapults will appear to finish them off. When facing north they shoot cows; when facing west and south they shoot super villagers; and when facing east they shoot acrobatic villagers.
  

• When playing in multiplayer mode against the CPU, advance and grow as much as you can. Do not worry about your enemies. Overall, you will be stronger than them and can research into the Heleopilis, which is made in the "Siege Workshop" You can destroy buildings quicker with many of them. Then, send a Villager (preferably when you are not enemies yet) to build a wall around their Town Center. This will stop them making more Villagers, as they will not knock the wall down. Thus, they stop growing and you can kill the Villagers and destroy the civilization with ease.
  

• Build many towers within their town to wipe out the Villagers and divert their attention while you destroy their buildings. All the Villagers leave what they are doing and attack the towers. They will make more villagers and run out of food and become weak.

• You can keep destroying their storage pits until they give up building them. Then, they do not get any more wood, food, stone and gold and thus no longer grow.

• The best weapons or men to invest in are the Phalanxes (Academy).-They are strong, but slow. The Heleopilises (Siege Workshop) are fast, have a high attack, but low health.

• Set your Diplomacy to Neutral with all opponents. Then, set the Diplomacy to Enemy. They will tell you to set your Diplomacy to Neutral for them. Instead, set the Diplomacy to Ally, and they will become your ally. Do this for all opponents to destroy them without losing any of your units.

• When you are fighting against a fortress or single tower, the enemy always goes for one of your units. If you move that unit out of harm's way before the life span is gone, you can defeat the enemy without any trouble. No other unit will be set on until the lone unit is dead.

If you type in BIG DADDY you will get a corvette that shoots out missiles.

While playing, type "Medusa" then walk one of your villagers into an enemy. When the villager dies it will return as a Black Rider. If the Black Rider dies it will come back as a Heavy Catapult.

Enter the scenario builder and make shallows acrossthe water. Place someone in the shallows and erase all shallows.The places that the shallows used to be will look like water,but you can still walk across them.

• Sentry/Guard Towers can be defeated by Catapults or Ballistas (Siege), Phalanxes.
• Catapults and Ballistas can be defeated by Villagers, Elephants, Phalanxes.
• Ships can be defeated by Catapults, Guard Towers, Fast Fire Ships.
• Phalanxes can be defeated by Elephants.
• Elephants can be defeated by Ships, a group of Phalanxes.
• Archers can be defeated by Elephants, Sentry/Guard Towers.
• Chariots can be defeated by Elephants, Sentry/Guard Towers.
• Scouts can be defeated by anything except Villagers.
• Villagers can be defeated by anything including villagers.
