Extra option

Successfully complete and save the game under the normal difficulty setting to unlock an "Extra" option at the main menu.

Hint: Starmine

A circle with an "E" gives you energy; a circle with a "B" gives you bonus points; and a circle with a star in it is obviously a star. every Time you get one, another part of the word "STARMINE" lights up. Once you have completed the word, a special star appears. You will know when you see it, as it is huge . If you detonate this star, you go into Starmine. It is basically a way of getting a lot of points.

At the Options screen, hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and the press X, up, X, up, down, square, to unlock everthing in the game.

Unlock Extra 2 Menu and Stage Select in Hard Mode

Complete ''Hard'' mode once. After that, stage select is available for ''Hard'' mode. Also, ''Extra 2'' menu in ''Extra'' menu is unlocked. In ''Extra 2'' menu, you have access to Ultra Play Movie 2, Screen Saver, Fireworks, and Digital Control.
