Cash amount is related to the current career difficulty. Easy difficulty does not accumulate cash.

Successfully complete Career mode on the Expert difficulty setting to unlock the Battle Axe.

Spend the indicated amount of money at the Character Shop to unlock the corresponding person:

Grim Reaper: $8,000
Izzy Sparks: $5,000

At the main menu, quickly press Yellow, Orange, Blue(2), Orange, Yellow(2) to unlock all bonuses. If you entered the code correctly, a message will appear. Note: The game cannot be saved after this code is enabled.

Enter these at the Game mode selection menu:

Go to The Garden. Wait until your character is in front of the singer. Every part of his/her body is frozen.He/her will eventually start moving again.

Note: If you do this with the Grim Ripper,his eye socets and his jaw will also move.

Complete every song including bonus tracks in normal, hard, and expert modes with a five star rating and recieve guitar god status.

The description is misleading, this glitch allows you to use the secret characters in carrer mode without unlocking them on a given difficulty level

To get this to work both of these conditions must be met

1: You will need to have unlocked the character previously on another difficulty level (such as normal)

2: You must NOT have played the desired level of play at all (so unlock them on medium to play with them on hard/expert, but do not play hard/expert at all)

To do the actuall glitch just go to medium and select either Izzy or Grim, and allow the game to save your progress, now head into hard or expert (assuming you have never touched these modes yet) and do NOT move the cursor when promted to select a hero, just hit green (or X) and select your guitar (when playing as Grim you'll notice that it works right here). When you start playing your hero won't be Axel Steel (or whoever was highlighted) but one of the two secret characters, don't ever change your character though because if you do you won't be able to play as them again until they are unlocked.

When you are under a long note that helps get star power, hold down the whammy bar and it shoud beits regular color.This works on Guitar Hero II.

This Gameshark/Codebreaker code is the only way to unlock the secret song "*Trippolette", by "Andrew Buch." It has the hardest section in the game (harder than the end of Bark at the Moon), but the overall shortness of the song makes it beatable.

The code will replace the bonus song "Guitar Hero" in the setlist screen (and shop) with Trippolette while it is active (when you reset, the Guitar Hero song is back).
