Madden NFL 06

If you throw a touchdown pass and your reciever catches it right on the goal line and it is ruled a touchdown it will put a touchdown in your stats. If the other coach challenges the touchdown and it is called back and put on the inches line to the goal you will still have thrown and caught a touchdown.

Look in the Antonio Gates Player Information screen. It shows his receptions, rec yards, etc. However, they show that Gates had 0 TDs. Gates set the record for TDs by a Tight End with 13.

Select the "My Madden" option at the main menu. Select the "Madden Cards" option, then choose "Madden Codes" to enter a code:

These are unlocked by completing each team's Situation in Mini-Camp mode, with the exception of these teams:

Create a punter or kicker with all his attributes at maximum, including passing. You will sign him for a low salary simply because he is a kicker. Then, set him as the starting quarterback on the depth charts as the season begins. You will now have the best kicker/punter and QB in the league. You may also maximize all passing attributes and take the kicking attributes down to sign him at an even lower price. This is most recommended if you only rarely kick.

Be a defensive lineman and back up a few feet. When the play starts, immediately run forward and hitsick an offensive lineman. He will fall down and your person will still be running fast towards the quarterback. Then, sack him.

First you need to go to the coaching strategy then to substitutions and switch your re with the fastest person possible then on defense go to the goal line defense and pick gaps fire once you come to the field you press l1 and left then r1 and right and triangle and right what this does is leaves the re wide open with no one lined up against him 9 out of 10 times he will either sack or pressure the qb to throw a bad pass.

Take the best wide receiver on your team and put him in the tightend position. Audible his route so he does a fly (straight) route. Because he has such a low overall rating, they might just have a line backer on him or he might not even be.

When on offense, select an offense with three receivers. Trip Bunch in Single Back formation works very well. Put the defense on goal line Zone CB cover. By doing this, no one rushes your QB, and once your receiver gets past the zone, they are left unguarded in the endzone for a guaranteed 48 points per play almost all of the time. This should work with most short zone coverages and does not take many attempts to learn which receiver to pick, mostly anyone running a long slant.

When you have an agent that you can go to the Performance Institute, go in, but you have to do it on game day, the same day you have a game, but do it before the game of course, do your practice, gain the points to go on your attributes, add them, then when you exit, and the autosave comes up, save your superstar season, then go back to the calendar (you have to go to the calendar first) then go back out to the map.

Go the the Performance Institute again and you'll beable to do the practices again that gain you points, do it again and the previous points you got will still be on your attributes and you'll be able to add the ones you gain from the pratice you just completed. You can do it over and over till your attributes are maxed out.

When your game is loading you will see a player and their 2004 stats while you are waiting. Once you see Deuce McCallister, it shows that he had 1600+ yards rushing. However, Deuce had 1074yards rushing last year (2004).

In NFL Superstar mode, you can go to the Performance Institute more than once a week. To do this, do not go until the day of the game. Then, go and do whatever drill desired. When you are done, leave the map and go to your schedule. Leave there, then go back to the map and you can do it again. This will allow your player to be very well prepared for the next game.

To hire Dan Baker as an agent import a NFL Street 2 created player or NCAA Football 2006 Legend into NFL Superstar Mode.

In NFL Superstar mode, make sure to choose your answers to interview questions wisely. The answers will affect your personality type and most endorsement companies want a player with a more conservative personality type, such as "Team Leader" or "Professional".

In any two back formation(excluding Weak-l ) press L2 to bring up the coach-cam. If the half back is labelled L1 the play is a pass, but if it he is labelled R1 its a run. This works 100% of the time on all two back formations (except Weak-l ).

Under Madden Cards, Highlight Madden Codes on the drop down menu and press x. The game will prompt you to enter a code. Enter the following codes to obtain these Cheat Cards: (case sensitive)
All Cheat Cards are Bronze Versions.

If there is a player you dislike, do the following to make him suffer. Go to "Features", then to "Rosters". Select his team then choose the player and go to "Attributes". Reduce his injury to "0". This may take awhile; you may also want
to set the game to four or five minute quarters.

When you get the movie deal for Muligan O'malley, in the last scene your line says something then "Mt. Dortiz". However the correct answer is "Ms. Dortiz".

Your agents you get are based on how good your player is. For example, if your player's overall rating is at least 84, you will get Dan Baker as an agent. When importing players, that RBs get better overall ratings, no matter how many Heismans or any other awards you have won. Your superstar's overall rating is based on your Heisman over ratings, that is then randomly altered slightly each time you import. When importing from NCAA Football 06, player's stats are randomly done. You can retry for better stats. The interview after the mentor meeting determines some stat boosts to important stats for your player's position.

If your IQ results are low, save the game before the IQ day and try ver again until your percentage is high. The same can be done for the draft. Save the game before the draft. If you do not like the team that drafted you, you can do it again.

If you have a player whose personality rating is "Disruption", choose Jason Morales as your agent. He can usually get you a movie deal before the first season starts. Stay away Aubrey DeLong. He is not a good negotiator and it takes forever to get an endorsement.

Create someone as a QB, then go into a practice and select a HB Swing. Have the defense do FG Block. When you say hike, lob the pass to your RB, He will score a touchdown for 48 points every time.

Pick a formation with at least three receivers, Then, choose a play that has an inside receiver doing a slant or short post. Pick the defense 4-3 Engage Eight or 3-4 renegade. Simply throw the ball to your slanting receiver every time. He will be wide open and get tackled for 17 to 48 points per play.

Choose a deep pass play on offense. Choose I Field Goal Block on the defense. You should be able to get a touchdown every time.

Use the following trick to get easy training camp and practice points for offensive players only. Select the Hail Mary for an offense play. For defense, select Goaline and the Blitz C. Call a Hot Route to have your left outside receiver run a 5 and out towards the sideline. The left slot receiver will be open every time to get a touchdown. When completed successfully you will get an "A" for a practice grade and boost your player's stats.

After you create a player and sign an agent, go to the draft. Start the draft. You will probably be selected in the third round unless you imported your player from NCAA Football 2005 or NFL Street 2. If you do not like the team you got drafted by, then simulate the preseason. When the preseason is over go to your agent's office on the city map. Scroll down to "I demand a trade". You will be traded to another team. If you dislike that team also, then demand another trade. Be careful, as you can only demand two trades until next season.

You can get your Overall, Awareness and Stamina up in practice mode by having your superstar get practice points by getting a big gain on offense with your superstar, or creating s big loss with your superstar on defense. You also can get
your stats up by getting an agent that has the Performance Institute and get a medal on it:

Note: Your stats are not permanent. They will be reset after each game. You must do the practices and Performance Institute again to get them back up.
