Terraria

Play a Softcore character in a Normal mode map. Equip Solar Flare armor, Solar Eruption, Spectre Boots or Lightning Boots, and any type of wings. Also consider having a Stake Gun, Cross Necklace or Star Veil, Paladin's Shield, and Warrior Emblem. Create a 1,000 block long arena on the surface then fill any gaps between the arena and the ground. Next, build a house with a table, chair and bed at the center of the arena. Set your spawn location there and make it the nurse's house. Summon the Pumpkin Moon with the Pumpkin Moon Medallion at the very start of any night. Use your Stake Gun to shoot at the enemies before they become visible until wave 3. At this point, equip the Solar Eruption and kill the Mourning Wood and Pumpking from now onwards. If your heath drops, restore it at the nurse or drink heath potions. Learn the enemy's attack patterns and progress until all fifteen waves have been completed.

• Use the Clentaminator with Dark Blue Solution. Note: This requires the Steampunk and Truffle NPCs.
• Surface Glowing Mushroom Biomes do appear naturally and must be player created. To do this, get Mushroom Grass Seeds that are dropped from Glowing Mushrooms in the Underground Glowing Mushroom Biome. Then, go on to surface (above depth 0) and plant seeds in Mud, and not Dirt. Plant the seeds at every second or third block. Allow it to grow as Grass, and Mushrooms will spread by themselves. After reaching 100 blocks wide, the Glowing Mushroom Biome will become a permanent biome in your world.

There are 29 different slimes in total, however only 24 of them need to be killed. The other five slimes are from Christmas and Halloween events. The slimes can be found as follows.

Pre-Hardmode slimes

• Green Slime: Found in the Forest during the day.
• Blue Slime: Found in Forest and Underground, or summoned with a slime statue.
• Red Slime: Found spawning in the Underground.
• Purple Slime: Spawns on surface uncommonly in the outer thirds of the world.
• Yellow Slime: Found in the Underground layer.
• Black Slime: Spawn in the Cavern layer, and are hard to see.
• Mother Slime: Second largest ordinary slimes. They spawn in Cavern layers.
• Baby Slime: A few Baby Slimes will spawn after killing Mother Slime.
• Pinky: Very rare slime that can appear in the Forest biome. It is the smallest of the slimes.
• Jungle Slime: Common enemy in the Jungle biome.
• Spiked Jungle Slime: Can be found in both Jungle and Underground Jungle Biomes.
• Lava Slime: Spawn only in the Underworld. They have fiery glow and emit some light.
• Dungeon Slime: Found in the Dungeon and have a Golden Key inside.
• Ice Slime: Common enemy in a Snow Biome and also appear in the Underground Snow Biome.
• Spiked Ice Slime: Commonly found in the Underground Snow Biome.
• Umbrella Slime: Found during rain on the surface. They are larger than Blue and Green Slimes and hold an umbrella.
• King Slime: Summoned with Slime Crown as well as by very rare random spawns when a player is in the two outer thirds of the map (far left or far right), the depth is above zero, and there is standard, green grass as a potential spawn point. Note: Goblin Scouts will spawn in the same locations as King Slime, indicating the proper location has been found.

Hardmode slimes

• Corrupt Slime: Can spawn in both The Corruption and Underground Corruption Biomes. Similar to Mother Slimes but stronger. It is a Corruption counterpart to a Crimslime.
• Slimeling: Three Slimelings will spawn after defeating a Corrupt Slime.
• Crimslime: Found in the Crimson biome in different sizes. It is a Crimson counterpart to a Corrupt Slime.
• Illuminant Slime: Spawn in the Underground Hallow Biome, replacing normal cave slimes. They emit a small amount of light.
• Rainbow Slime: Rare spawn near The Hallow during rain or blizzard. They will spawn outside of The Hallow Biome while a player is physically inside. It does not spawn directly on the hallowed blocks, but on non-hallow blocks such as grass or snow.
• Slimer: Spawn in The Corruption and Underground Corruption Biomes. It begins as a flying Slime with wings but will lose them and fight you on ground.
• Toxic Sludge: Spawns in the Underground in place of ordinary slimes.

Note: Because the Corrupt Slime is only found in a Corruption Hard mode world and the Crimslime is only found in a Crimson Hard mode world, you cannot earn "Gelatin World Tour" with a single world. To avoid missing any of them, have 17 out of 24 slimes before you trigger Hard mode. Then, collect up to 23 out of 24 of the slimes in your original world before travelling to a second world and immediately starting hard mode at that location for the last slime.

The Golden Fishing Rod is a quest reward obtained from the Angler. It will always appear as a reward for your thirtieth Angler quest completion. The Angler is be found asleep in the Ocean biome, either laying in the sand or floating on the water. Talk to him to do his quests and move into an open house. His quest requires you to obtain a special fish that can only be caught while the quest for that fish is active. Each fish has a specific biome it spawns at.

You can get wings before Hardmode by completing a quest from the Angler NPC.

Place any grappling hook into the grappling hook slot in the "Equipment menu". When selected, it will appear on the right-hand side of the screen.

You must reach the upper boundary, where the sky meets space. If you do not have the Wings, Jetpack, or any other means of flight, build a very tall single block tower with regular wooden platforms sticking out of it to use as jumping points. Jump up until you reach the maximum height.

Truffle is an NPC that sells Mushroom-related items such as Mushroom Spear, Hammush, and Autohammer. Get a surface Mushroom Biome with over 100 blocks of Mushroom Grass, Plants, Trees, and a house suitable for NPCs. Truffle will appear very soon afterwards.

The easiest Boss summoning item you can obtain is the Suspicious Looking Eye. It is crafted at a Demon Crimson Altar with six Lenses or can be found in chests in the Cavern.

Fall damage uses the formula: (fall height in blocks - 25) *10. Because that base fall damage number is further modified by your defense from equipment, do not wear any. Dropping from a health of 100 to 10 is enough to earn "Lucky Break". To do this easily, create a new character, dig 34 dirt blocks, then find a flat area and build a vertical tower. Then, walk off the top.

Jumping and flying will not increment your progress. Find a long, straight, and somewhat flat area, then wander around.

Use an arena that is high and long and consider having the Stardust Dragon Staff. Kill them in the order: Twins, Destroyer, and Skeletron Prime.

Pinky is a rare slime that appears in the Forest. It is the smallest of the slimes, and has more health, defense and knockback than almost all of other pre-Hardmode slimes. However, it also has very low damage value. Note: The Slime Rain event greatly increases the spawn rates of all slimes native to the biome you are currently in. When one occurs, remain in the Forest biome to have a larger chances of encountering Pinky.

Crafting A Rainbow Rod requires the following ingredients.

• 15 Soul of Sight, obtained from The Twins.
• 8 Soul of Light, a random drop from any Hallowed enemy.
• 10 Pixie Dust, dropped by Pixies.
• 2 Unicorn Horn, dropped by Unicorns.
• 10 Crystal Shards, mined at Underground Hallow.

Get a Blessed Apple, which is a mount item obtained during Hardmode (Post Wall of Flesh) from any hallowed enemies. The mount is the unicorn. You will also require the Rainbow Gun, which is obtained from the Hallowed Chest inside the Dungeon. The drop rate for the required key is very rare, from hallowed enemies only in Hardmode. The Hallowed Chest cannot be opened until Plantera is killed. Simply get on the Unicorn and shoot the Rainbow Gun to earn "Rainbows and Unicorns".

There are 21 town NPCs required. Some NPCs will appear in your town when you complete their individual requirements. Others appear tied up in various underground locations and must be rescued. The NPCs that must be rescued cannot be missed. If you are in the right biome and depth, the NPCs will respawn again near your location. Additionally, the following must be defeated for all NPCs to become available.

• Plantera (and all previous storyline Bosses)
• Queen Bee
• One Goblin Invasion
• One Pirate Invasion

Get within five blocks of the very bottom of the map. To do this, reach the Underworld then find a deep-reaching Underworld tower. Dig through the floor into the ash until you reach the bottom while avoiding pools of lava. To make this easy, try to have the following.

• Golden Armor or better
• Nightmare Pickaxe or better (for mining through Obsidian)
• Obsidian Skull (for protection from Hellstone)
• Obsidian Skin Potion or Lava Charm (for protection against Lava)

This yoyo drops from the Moon Lord about 11% of the time. You may also be able to get one from another player.

There are a total of fourteen Bosses that must be killed. Note: Event Bosses do not count.

When a Slime Rain event begins, remain aboveground and fight slimes. At the end of the event, King Slime will attack. Slime Rain spawns normal slimes for that biome.

Survive the slime rain and defeat the King Slime that will spawns after you kill 150 slimes during that time. Note: If the King Slime was previously defeated, only 75 slime kills are required to make him appear again.

The Wall Of Flesh is a boss with 8,000 HP. Each of his three eyes has a different attack, and he can grab you with minion-like biting tentacles. To kill him, construct a very long bridge in the hell area. Try to build it as straight as possible in order to allow yourself to move away easier while ranging him. He appears after you defeat a demon with the Guide voodoo doll, then throwing doll into the lava.

The Queen Bee is a pre-Hardmode Boss found in the Underground Jungle biome. She appears after the Larva inside the Bee Hive mini-biome are destroyed. Note: Destroy all hive blocks surrounding the larva first to prevent bees from appearing during your fight with the queen.

The fishing quest resets at 4:30 a.m.; starting as early as possible is recommended. Bring a chest, such as the piggy bank, with plenty of empty inventory space. Find a location where you can catch the day's fish and have plenty of bait with your fishing gear. After catching a fish, store it in your chest. When the quest fish is not in your personal inventory, you can catch it again. Continue to catch and store the quest fish through most of the day. Transfer all the caught fish to a chest next to the fishing NPC. Use any alternate characters you have, with each character taking one quest fish and turning it in. This can be done faster by setting your characters' spawn point to a bed in the fishing NPC's room, as well as enabling the auto-pause option in the settings menu.

• The Terra Blade is a Hardmode weapon. It is crafted at the Orichalcum/Mythril Anvil with a True Night's Edge and a True Excalibur. Note: The Broken Hero Sword is needed to craft the True Night's Edge and the True Excalibur items, and can only be obtained by killing Mothron a solar eclipse (Hardmode event).
• Get the Terra Blade from a friend or a multiplayer server.

• Get a Picksaw that drops from Golem, the Boss of the jungle temple. The Picksaw can mine Lihzahrd blocks. Use the Picksaw to break one block inside the temple.
• Get a Laser Drill, which drops from the Martian Saucer that appears during Martian Madness. Use it to break a Lihzahrd block.

• Build a house for the nurse. Place a long rope leading upward next to the house. Climb up, intentionally fall, heal yourself, and repeat the process as many times as needed. Note: Set the height of the rope as needed, depending on your total health.
• Have 1 gold in your inventory or in your piggy bank. Place one fire block, such as a meteorite, next to the nurse. NPCs are immune to its effect. Remove your armor as well as any lava resistance items. Remain in contact with the block and keep healing.

Tim is a skeleton mage with 200 HP. Although not too difficult to kill, he will teleport and fire spectral projectiles that pass through tiles. He is encountered while randomly digging underground.

You must reach a total of 15,000 gold. Go to the underground caves where you fought the Dragon Skull and get near the save point. Consider equipping the Doughnut Ring (from the doughnut quest) and the Scroll of Horwroth (from killing the Dragon Skull) to Leon and set him to be the first character in your party's order. The Horwroth scroll gives you access to a powerful area of effect spell that one hit kills most monsters. Begin the battle, cast Horwroth with Leon, then attack as usual with everyone else in your party. Because you also have the Doughnut Ring equipped, you should have the first turn each time and kill all your enemies with the first cast of Horwroth. After each battle, restore your energy at the save point before resuming gold farming.

The Groom is a top hat wearing zombie that spawns during a blood moon after a few other zombies are killed. He can be found easily in a jungle biome but also appears in the regular biome.

• This can also be earned by collecting wood from other sources instead of chopping down a tree.
• After spawning on a freshly made map, a tree will appear. Use your copper axe to chop down the tree. Walk directly in front of the tree, highlight its base, and break split into multiple pieces. Collect one of those wooden pieces.

Complete the Martian Madness hardmode event. It begins after defeating Golem and is triggered by locating a red Martian probe. They are found most often in space. Allow the probe to detect you, then fly away. The probe will change from red to blue. After the Martian invasion starts, defeat each wave then defeat the Boss.

Your goal is to enter a beehive in the Underground Jungle biome by digging through the Hive wall. Every world should have some large beehives scattered around all depths of the Jungle during world creation, allowing this to be done pre-Hardmode. Once equipping gear good enough to survive the Jungle, which should be just one or two grades better than the starting gear, explore until you find a beehive. When you find the unique yellow wall of a Hive, dig through it. Be careful not to drown in the honey that appears.

Eater of Worlds appears when the world has the Corruption biome. Destroy three Shadow Orbs to summon him, unless you have the Worm Food summoning item.
