Extra characters

There is a Hawkman named Canopus. You can get him after talking to his sister in the first level, after the proofing battle with Warren. You may hear about him, but after you meet him he will tell you to talk to his sister. She will give you an item called the "Wing of Victory". Show it to him, and he will offer to fight side by side with you to bring down the Empire. He has one Hawk Man, two Eagle Men, and a Gryphon in his unit.

Gain Ashe through the level where you meet Debonair. Keep in mind there is a city up to the far right corner that is walled, so use either the flying unit you have or find the monk with termites to take the walls down and send a unit up there. He will offer to fight beside you out of his guilt and to make up for not saving the royal family. He is a Knight and carries two other Knights and a Rock Golem with him in his unit.

Lyan he can be found with Ashe as well, but to get him you must pay a certain amount. In his unit is a Beastman and two Dragons.

Hint: Finding Chaos Gates

To find the four Chaos Gates, go to the place where in a town someone will say "I saw a Flying unit go.... (east.)". Go there. You will unlock four hidden areas (the three Sky Islands) to recruit the three High Knights, but you will need the sword Brunhild.
