Flash backwards to several years before the vicious battle against the empire in Panzer Dragoon 1. In the country of Machania, dragons are bred for the exclusive use of the dragoons, or Knights. Dragons with wings are normally executed as they are deemed to be a bad omen by the citizens. In the war with the Empire, Machania has begun to examine the ancient ways rather than to try to fight a futile war using technological advances. The Empire is technologically more advanced. Randy, the hero, and his newfound friend, the dragon he saved, want to turn the tide of battle.

Dragon Evolution Conditions

Unlockable
How to Unlock
1-Glideling
Earn at least 2 Total Points.
2-Windrider
Earn at least 6 Total Points.
3-Armonite
Earn at least 13 Total Points.
4-Skydart
Earn 15 Total Points by the end of Episode 4.
5-Brigadewing
Do NOT evolve into the Skydart, instead reach the last mission with at least 18 Total Points and you'll transform.
6-Type 01 (Blue Dragon )
Evolve into the Skydart first, and reach the last mission with 24 Total Points to transform.

Various Game Tricks and Secrets

ADEC System
In the options mode choose 'Full Instruments' and press B on controller 2 while playing the game.

X-Y Radar
Press A on controller 2 while playing the game to enable the radar.

Self Destruction
Press A+B+C+L+R at the same time while playing the game.

Speed Code
At the title screen press Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Down, Up, and then Down to double your speed.

Fly Original Dragon
To play as the original Dragon from PD1, set the instruments on Full and take routes 2, 2, and 3 on the appropriate levels.

Fly Sky Dart
Take routes 2, 2, 3, 1.

Open All of Pandora's Box
After playing the game for 30 hours, all of the options in Pandora's Box will open up to you.

Space Harrier and Dragon ModeOnce all options are open in DPandora's Box, go to the life selection. Choose Lundi for Space Harrier Mode and Lagi for Dragon Mode.
