In the Grasslands stage, after you make it to the shack, restock your ammo, and pick up a crossbow and ammo for it, you will be attacked by two lions. Further down the trail, you will be attacked by four more lions. The best way to avoid being killed is to walk backwards, firing your six-gun rapid fire. After killing these lions, you will continue down the trail where you meet several lionesses, and a large male. If you do not move out of the way of the leaping male quickly, the game will freeze. The scenery will float up and you cannot move. To avoid this, notice that there is a fork in the road just before that section. Travel opposite from the waypoint arrow, take that narrow path, and you can continue without the game locking up. Otherwise, when the male attacks, if you do not duck out of the way the game will freeze.

With the Bear, run for the health pack before he attacks. Everytime he is away, aim for the heart. I killed him only using the rifle, but shot it lots, including while he was running away. In Africa, use mostly the pistle to kill the snakes. Use the hunters aide to find them, then shot with pistol. With the leopards, scope them first, rifle then shotgun. When crossing the heard of buffalo, do not waste bullets here. will need lots soon.
