At the start of the "Clarendon" level, after rising on the lift, you will find a large "O" with the "r" on top of it. As soon as you land on the "O" and it begins to roll, begin jumping. When the gun starts to aim, it will be slightly off because it thinks your maximum jump height is the area directly above the "O". This, it might aim under you. As soon as the shot is fired, jump as far to the right as possible. The gun will not reload for a second shot, and will not fire again for the rest of the level. Note: this applies to the PC version also.
